Our Humanitarian Projects

HPV Early Screening Awareness Pilot Project in West Bandung (June – Aug 2024)

We collaborated with the Ikatan Bidan Indonesia (IBI), the Midwives association in Indonesia to reach the women in West Bandung on HPV awareness and screening. 5858 Women was reached and made aware and 335 were recruited to participate in the pilot project.
We were blessed to have PT Graha Megatama to sponsor the self sampling kits, reagents, equipment and manpower to run the assays. We were also thankful for the sponsorship from Greiner for their lab wares, Medicom for their gloves and Sage for the masks.
The Project successfully concluded on 13th August 2024 where 4% of the women were tested positive for HPV and being followed up by the medical professionals.
With the success of this pilot project, the West Bandung Regency has received budget approval to reach more women in 2025.

Our Humanitarian Projects

Beyond Classroom (Sept – Dec 2024)

A nation advances and grows by bringing people and nations together through education, culture and science. This is an innovative pilot program to adopt S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) modules, leadership curriculum, and project based learning to enable teachers in the indigenous regions of Indonesia to be equipped.
The end goal was to enable these teachers to adopt the learnings into practical applications for their students in order to improve the livelihoods of the indigenous community.
Together with Pandu Pertiwi (the Indonesia chapter of Caretakers of the Environment International, a network of high school teachers and students active in Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development), we worked to develop the materials and workshops.
